The one I have the pics of is structured the same way. The upper canopy definitely spreads out more horizontal. It's good shade for my clients yard. There tree is a bit sketchy though. A lot of included main unions and cavities.
We have lots of Siberian elm here so I thought it was some sort of elm at first, but the twigs are not round they are a cross shape. You can sort of see if you zoom in on the middle of the second pic
I have seen this tree before but can't remember what it is. Sorry my client only sent me these two pics. It's not a native tree to where I am in British Columbia lower interior.
Any help would be great thanks.
I bid on a Wednesday. Good mid week break. It's just me and a business partner that run our show . We work mon, tue, bid Wednesday then maintenance or small jobs Thursday , then work Friday and Saturday. We find we get a lot work from neighbours doing work on a Saturday.
Going to look at a used Vermeer 2012 bc1200xl chipper. I've used a bc1000xl and a newer 1800 xl just wondering if anyone has used the chipper in question or heard of any complaints and problems with them. What should I look out for?
Cheers
First time purchasing a chipper but not my first time running a chipper. For the work we do something 12" would work, 18" would be better but I would rather buy something newer in a 12" than a beat up old 18" . I prefer new vs old budget is 40k that's doing finance or a loan. Bandit over...
Hi, long story short, I'm turning my weekend warrior business into full time. I had a good thing going with a local rental company for chipper rental, they just got bought out by a big corporate company so I've decided to purchase a chipper. Just looking for ideas where to look, I've checked out...
One company I worked for would have crew leaders assigned to a truck each. It would be up to them to keep the truck greased and oiled, even if it meant delegating tasks to there crew. Meetings every two weeks would discuss any problems with trucks or chippers . These problems would be...
Don't do it for long. I was working with a tree company in town and started a tree company with a business partner. Had no money so had to build it from scratch while supporting a wife and kid. Money was great but working 7 days a week for a year and a half has taken a toll on me. Your single so...
I also feel wobbly in skinny tops mainly on the way domn .Now when I get to about 8" on my way up I think ahead and come up with a plan for the top. Leave some well placed stubs to hang on to and climb up on gives you a good tip on the way down to when it's time to chunk wood instead of tip...
Interesting thread, I was about to purchase a ms362 . Rented one for my last two jobs , it's brand new and I had to start it after every cut on a 70ft chunk down. I wanted to throw it out the tree. Never considered a Husqvarna since I have been happy with Stihl to this point. What's there...
