Fu*%face Von Clownstick

Arrogant is dead last on Levi's list of traits.

Anyway, if the war's cessation can be all or mostly attributed to trump, then that is a wonderful thing accomplished. How a low-IQ narcissist could achieve such a thing when hundreds of others have tried and failed over many decades is hard to figure but even more surprising will be if it lasts a month.

It won't last a month because Palestine, as always, will get nothing out of it--except maybe some new casinos. This is a giant PR campaign for Gump, who wants to rebuild Palestine (and America) in his gold-covered-plastic image.

Are you arrogant enough to believe you have a better understanding?
Based on the conversation thus far, I find it self evident that Levi has a better understanding of most things than O'Reilly. You seem like a very capable arborist, but I know more than a couple of very capable arborists that don't know much beyond the trade, and maybe a handful of other trades like construction and mechanical work. being good at those things doesn't mean you are good at understanding the rest of the world and how it works.

Maybe this will give you a more complete understanding of Trumps personality?

Er, um, doesn't everybody on earth know exactly what trumps personality is?? It is made crystal clear 24/7 by his social posts and sound bites etc. Knowing what he is all about has never been an issue so I guess I don't understand your question.

Yes, his positions and proclamations swing wildly but his personality is set in stone.

Posting links is not discourse. It doesn’t show that you have any opinions or understanding of anything that is going on. You are just like watching a video and and think “this is the video that will show everyone what is going on.” Has it ever worked?

Write something in your own voice about what you see that is happening in this country that is wrong and have a dialogue about it. Is it the national debt, uncontrolled immigration, health care costs? I’m not here to tell you what to be concerned about but I am curious what parts of what is happening in this country concerns you folks most.

In my opinion, this country has been going downhill my entire life. What concerns me most as a businessman is the turbulence of the economy. I have no idea how to plan for the future other than to plan on disruption and zero clue of what is coming other than seeing the price of gold skyrocketing which gives me a pretty good idea of what is coming. If I’m basically always planning for recession how can I in good conscience hire people or borrow money? How is that good for economy?

This administration has thrown everything resembling normalcy out the window. Whether that is legal standards, budgetary norms, who and how people are hired and fired, and oversight over anything related to government or how our tax dollars are spent. That should be concerning to anyone regardless of their political leanings. Guardrails are there for a reason. Would Trump walk up a stairway without a railing? But apparently he can drive this economy on a precipice with no guardrails without anyone thinking it is a problem?

Links are great and can be useful but everyone has their blinders on and will only look at or truly appreciate the media they already agree with. If humans use words and discuss the problems in front of them they usually come to the middle and find a consensus. Politics, media, and those in power pull us to the fringes so far apart that there can’t be discourse because the other people basically aren’t even human. They are other. They are beneath us and beneath understanding or dialogue.

I would encourage EVERYONE ON HERE to use words. Your own words. Not copied and pasted. Not videos or links. Read words other people write and try to see it from multiple perspectives.

50 states, multiple territories, and one kook steering the whole ship. What could go wrong? Figuring how to get this country back to a place where Congress had power and getting money out of politics is the only way to get back to moderates leading this country instead of the pendulum swinging back and forth from the right to the left as the populace run from one side of the ship to the other as they chase the crumbs they need to survive.

Proper respect Dave for at least sticking around here. Honestly I don't think I've ever spent more than five minutes with a Trump supporter in real life. They just don't exist out in the open where I live. But we are still eating ourselves alive here in Boulder CO nevertheless.

2025 is like a bad acid trip for the whole world that just won't stop. People have been saying this would happen for decades, even centuries or millennia if you go into religious or spiritual stuff. Collapse of the west, Armageddon, etc etc.

One very important aspects of our Constitution is the fact that it is Congress who decides how and where to spend "We The Peoples" tax payer dollars. The president is here to faithfully execute those laws..

Trump has illegally seized control of "We the Peoples" tax dollars. Trump has been engaged in an ongoing series of blatantly unlawful acts which goes against the very principals on which this nation was founded. We are getting dangerously close to the point of no return, so we better wake the fuck up. If not, America as we know it will be over before we know it..

Fantastic post Ryan

The U.S. represents the top of the food chain for the principles and operation of democracy. Can you imagine if it goes so far off the guiderails that it experiences collapse like the Soviet Union did?

On the topic of Mr. too-much-is-never-enough (per his niece's book) do you think after the golden palace syndrome he'll start wearing costumes like No-more Khadafi?

pray I'm wrong

Given that one bold, nervy, nut job is able to run this wild in our government thus apparently creating significant threats to our democracy, does it mean that our constitution isn't up to the task of keeping the perp within the 'guardrails' tho it apparently was adequate to do so for the previous 2+ centuries?

Good ol $trump is an outlier, in a bad way!

I don’t know about that. I think it has represented the top of the military food chain since WWII, but realistically I think we are slipping fast in that regard as well. I think there’s some countries with democratic governments that seem to carry the will of the people much more directly. Less corruption and money in politics. France comes to mind.

I think we have used the excuse of instilling democratic principles unto countries we want to bomb (Vietnam, Iraq, etc), so there’s a lot of propaganda at home to bolster that whole framing of it.

Trump, on his social media platform yesterday, depicted himself as a fighter pilot wearing a crown, flying over America and dumping shit on Americans.

This is your president:

More out in the open, banana republic, lawlessness from Trump as he threatens to withhold federal funds and send in federal troops if his preferred candidate doesn't win the NYC mayoral race..

I can't help but wonder just how long Trump's MAGA would survive if California (the 4th largest economy in the world) and New York (the 8th largest economy in the world) suddenly decided to stop sending their hard earned tax payer dollars to fund Donny's federal government?

7 million American's exercise their constitutional right to peacefully protest and this is the presidents response? America needs a leader, not a lawless troll..
