I’d like to know how long it took from tree to timber!I would like to know what THIS was cut with.

Looks like they used a large drill to remove most of the wood before making the final cut with a thin flat blade.
@rico what was that cut with?

I’ve been maintaining this particular tree for over 15 years now these folks told me today basically I’ve climbed it 4 times to prune deadwood reduction prune end weight on low overextended limbs and excess water sprouts. It’s like visiting an old friend. I love this tree. It was windy up there today! Figure I’d share it. Just a little Jersey chestnut oak Not a cable in sight! I have always just prescribed end weight reduction. Ive spent many many hours with a 14 foot basswood pole and a sharp Marvin head out on the tipsNo cables @Treetopflyer ? Feels good to help keep those trees vs only removals!
I’ve built my business on repeat assets like this tree haha! There is So much to be said for that love of trees and nature being so important as an arborist! I see some people try and be in this Business and you can see they don’t have that love , they look at trees like meat to be butchered.Feels good to help keep those trees vs only removals!
You can always offer to replant a new tree in the correct locationI hate taking down good trees because someone planted it without enough room, usually the case.

I need more details! WTF am I looking at here? Some crazy angles that somehow balanced!?
