25' circumference cottonwood we pruned today. Talked the client out of removing an entire 4'dbh leader and may be cabling it in the spring. Opted for weight reduction instead. She's a beaut.

This oak and Douglas-fir are coming down...rubbing, not interlocked!
The oak, hollow as the other failed oak, broke in the last storm.




Prevailing wage is $90/ hour!
Two of us, plus ropes and the mini- loader! Keeping it close to home. Might rent a 67' lift, but it might not help that much.
