Those kitty litter tubs look nice. I haver smaller tubs that are square. Are those less than 5 gal, like 3 gal?Five dead limbs I removed from a pine this morning.

Let the smaller ones just drop, and lowered the two larger ones on ropes.

Thats the exact size and shape I've been dreaming of! Now I just need to find a friend with a cat that uses a litter box. My cats are all outside cats.Kitty litter is sold by weight, not volume. I've never seen a volume figure on the tubs. An unmodified tub for 20 pounds of Priority lightweight litter holds a little over 3.5 gallons of water.
I found the tubs (12" tall) a little too small to hold my climbing ropes, but it was pretty easy to make them larger by cutting and nesting them together to extend the bottom (left 13 1/2") or top (right 14 1/2").

The litter tubs sure beat the five gallon buckets I was using. They're not as tough, but they're lighter, take us less room, and are easily replaced if broken.
Cool, what are you going to make with it?This was a saddening removal of a walnut. It was overtaken by vines and the owner is building a home. The electric cooperative disconnected the service for free while I flopped it. I’m hoping the owner will at least give the log away. I brought home a few portions of the top.
Charcuterie, cheese, display boards but whatever the wood wants to be. It will take awhile to dry.Cool, what are you going to make with it?

I remember that well! You were very gracious to put me up on my way back North. Thanks for that time!@oceans remember this visit playing on the infamous bulldogg double bulldogg bones swivel trifecta let’s tickle this little deadwood here and there climb as far out as we can redirect ghostface slicka style circa 2016 I believe lol

It actually looks really cool IMO. Maybe you can hang that as a new exterior “storm” door on rollers by installing a track for it to ride on. Keep the function, add some convenience.I installed this arrangement of free recycled treated lumber deck boards to keep the sun off the roll-up door on my metal building. The inside of the door will approach 150 degrees F in the summer, making the building unusable. This should help a bit. The rest of the east-facing wall is insulated.

The lower horizontal board drops into joist hangers, so it's easy to remove it and as many vertical boards as necessary to get something through the door.
Before the big dirties before the spiders . Just ropes bros!I remember that well! You were very gracious to put me up on my way back North. Thanks for that time!
Just ropes and lots of time. Big Dirty needs a Date with the mechanic for some PM. I rebuilt the whole subframe area where the crane mounts and changed up the outrigger setup to make it much more stable. That thing is rock solid now. One gremlin left is to fix the AC before Summer hits. Back when all I had was a rope I didn’t ever have to think about this kinda stuff! Before the big dirties before the spiders . Just ropes bros!
Why didn’t you just fell it through the little gap in the rail? LOL! Nice one. Good on ya to put the ply over the windows. I remember one years ago through a shed roof. After getting down to the roof, it was so weird to be standing on a spar indoors To finish.Funny little spruce through a deck. Cut and chuck onto the beach.
