swivel loading

Looks like a nice tree, why was it removed, dead?
Unfortunately it was lifting the road and wall. Not my call....two were removed. Very nice trees. Sad day. They were building a row of solar power fields. Huge setup. Personally I think that was their main motive. I reduced ( not topping ) them two years ago and they were both thriving but hey it was not my call.

To each their own right? It's a 12 foot lanyard so stretch isn't a big factor. Just a pice of rope I had around and figured I'd get some use out of it, an eye would be preferable though.. I enjoy moving and stationary systems, they both have their place and I like to go back and forth. Mostly srt these days though. Thank you for your blessings.
Hey I am not judging. Could not remember if it was a main line or lanyard....all good. Just keep safe and have loads of fun climbing....I know I do.

That's rough, bad ass work though here in Cali trees can shade solar pretty much all they want as long as they were there first. Don't even get me started on road/hard scape deflections lol, I was working on selective root pruning for a repaving project today. I like to include appraisals in assessment reports where removal is a consideration, people only see money these days...

Maybe I'm missing something but there is a third attachment point on the hitchclimber which works perfect to attach a second system to.... allowing a single attachment to the swivel or bridge. Move the termination of the primary system to the top hole and attach the second system to the middle.
Agreed and to add when sitting on a loaded line, the hitch cord from the primary covers most of the third hole. Its a totally legit connection point but a bit of wrestle the carabiner in there and a cluster F... But I just use my bridge ring, or bring both carabiners to my ring and have two extra holes available
