Sizing is important. I have steel Bashlins that I've had for 30 years. The original sleeves were a bit short even though I had them adjusted out full length. They were ok but still hurt a bit. I got the longer sleeves about 2 years ago and difference is night and day.

The way the geckos I had fit the part of the shank that goes along your leg and the part under your foot were at angles so if it was tightly strapped to your leg the foot part sat at an angle do you were constantly climbing/standing on just a corner and it put more stress on the side of your leg, might have just been a one off issue I saw another set that seemed different when I looked at them like the angles lined up properly. I did like the pads though those were really nice.

Had a nasty vine covered hackberry on a house today. I do really like that husky battery pole saw. 
I just measured on the map, and on the island where I work, you basically can't be more than 2.5 miles from the water at any time, even less if you count lakes
Add into that mountains in more directions than not and yah, it's pretty nice. That mountain photo is actually a neighbor of my new property; eventually that's what I'll be seeing out of my living room, kitchen and bedroom. Though it's probably a few years before I can build the house I want.

Made the chair from a Live oak. Approximately 44 years ago the previous owners brought back a seedling from the coast and it grew into a large, three trunk, codom. One of the trunks tore off which sealed the trees fate. Although Live Oaks can grow in upstate SC, I don't think the acorns can germinate with our freezing temperatures (just a theory of mine).

I used to do a ton of hedges back in the city, but hadn't done them for years because people just don't have them where I live. Kind of satisfying work, but kind of irritating honestly, as you are often trying to fix someone else work, and this one had been partly worked on a few times and then quit before I came to it. Lots of pieces too large for the hedger and had to be hand sawed while standing in the top, really slowed it down. It turned out well for what it was, but I'd still rather be doing a lot of other things with my time, and having a taller ladder would have helped....

Basswood end weight reduction and dead wood. Homeowner was very happy with end result. We decided to not remove these two leads as it would've punched a massive hole in the canopy. It looks like this wound has been there a while...

Ok, so this was actually Friday, but I hadn’t had a chance to post it, I’ve been in the shop repairing things all week.
Our 83HD blew a hose down below the turntable, and the leak was bad enough we didn’t want to run the lift to bring the boom down to the ground (cleaning up ten gallons of oil off a driveway isn’t my idea of fun!) so we bailed the operator out and had a road service company come out to replace the line. Nice, smooth textbook bailout, no problems whatsoever, and we were able to go on and finish the day on schedule in spite of the breakdown.
