WTH? SHERRILLtree Poison Ivy made by Samson now?

Oh what to do? :confused:
Sumac or Hyperclimb?
I was about ready to give up on Samson Ivy and just get more Yale and be done with it.
Now I'm torn.
 
Anyone know why Hyperclimb is considered "non spliceable"? I was under the impression that it's just the Samson ivy line in different colors, and those are able to be spliced. Why not on hyperclimb?
 
It can be spliced, Wesspur just hasn’t added that code to the page yet. Call or email them and they’ll take care of it.

I've been on silver ivy since the beginning of the year and I dig it. It's got a really nice, soft hand right out of the bag... knots really well. It works nicely with hitch cord or the zigzag. The first time I set up a canopy anchor and ascended SRT on it I was amazed at how static it was for a double braid. Since I got this line, I don't really find myself reaching for a static line for SRT climbs. It rules. I'm gonna replace it with hyperclimb cool once I put a little more wear on it.

It’s my favorite
 
I just bought a hank of Silver Ivy or I would have jumped on this.
I can tell you that the Silver Ivy is a slightly thinner rope than Yale Ivy.
Noticeable difference when placed side by side.
Was a little surprised of that.
Haven't climbed it yet so can't say if it's good or not just yet.

Damn the cool looks cool! The stock photos of both colors seems off from real life.
I've got a purple rope right now, Yale calamine, but when it needs replacing I'm gonna have to add a cool hank to go with my hot 200'.
