It was the last cut, and the rest of the dead was small and scattered all over the canopy.
Even the 2511 is bulky enough to get in my way.

I tried @Tom Dunlap 's magnets on the Silky Sheath trick today. A bit of extra, that's worth it, when saws are $100.


Set a high-line on 1/2" HTP today. Great.

I had this guy follow me home. We already have one of these but having a spare is better, right? This crane barely fit on this trailer. It's been sitting for about 5 years and needed some work when it was parked. Hopefully after a few repairs we'll be able to put this one into service as well.

I'm not sold to he homest. The only reason I've been doing it was for the times I run it like a second set line. Then it is the best I can find. Day in and day out I find things that other lanyards are better at.

Worked to the sweet sounds of a beat up all generator all day....Bout drove me crazy, but no power anywhere near this project...

I’ve been trying mine on a long lanyard lately. Unless there’s a knot or something to stop it, it eats up slack when I don’t want it to. Reach for it when it’s stowed on my side and the snap is butted up against the device.
Maybe still getting used to it there, but I like a distel better for now.

Planted five frozen ball Nyssa today. Since they're icebergs, we planted them high and we'll located the root flares when they're thawed. Of course, most of out backfill was frozen to the ground too...fun day.


Trench drains run to a large pit where I put a bald cypress and will plant a bunch of Japanese and Siberian irises. Perpetually wet area of a park near ball fields and a playground

Going good here. Between work, and more work, and keeping up around the house( more work) , I realized I work to much. Taking almost two weeks off after next Friday. Gonna try and relax
