Did a job two streets away from home. The homeowner did get me a crane and road close down. I was afraid what crane its going to be and whos behinde the sticks. It was a 25ton with almost 100ft of boom. The driver dident speak a word estonian ( my friend was translateing on the Sena). But that guy had 40 years of experience (i bet the crane was same old ) and we pulld it of in 2.5 houres without eny problems.

Looks good, that old Crane looks to be in good shape, does he always run a 4 part line, or was lazy to change it back ?

Had some time today to finish up this deck with lumber we milled up last year. Also manage to get it stained today.

Had some really fun removals this week, and will be removing a decent sized Fir (165-175 ft) thats all over a house tomorrow. My buddy who does the video work is back in town so I should have 3-4 vids ready for editing soon. I have been inspired by the venerable Stihlmadd (love that dude) to put a little more effort into the vid thing. Had a ground camera, a drone, and a go pro, so it should be fun trying to put it together.

Did you bleed out an ox on that deck?

The HO’s wanted something a little dark, so they picked Ducks Bill “redwood heart” for their oil/stain. Not the route I would have gone, but they love it, so who am I to argue. I will say that in about 48 hours it will look very different as it’s color will drastically soften and lessen. The oil won’t fully settle in for well over a week.
