I watched a Youtube vid on how to adjust the carb on my Husqvarna 435e. I was interested in adjusting the idle speed, but couldn't find the correct screw. The vid said to close both the H and L screws, then back off both of them 1.25 turns. Said the L screw adjusted the idle speed. That didn't seem correct. I downloaded the service manual, and that's where I found a diagram that showed where the idle adjustment screw was hiding. In plain sight, of course. Right below the prime bulb! I guess you should take all YouTube vids with a heavy dose of salt!

Not sure about that particular saw but most saws have a H and L. High and Low jet. There will also be an idle screw that adjusts the idle by moving the throttle arm on the carb. A saw should idle without have this screw ran in. The carb needs to be set with the L and H jet screw. Then if it won't idle you can adjust the idle screw. This particular saw may be different though. I've not ran one.

I claim dyslexic fingers. It's a 435e. I fixed the typo.
