Yale Imori

tried it once(2 hours in an oak), kind of feels like a bouncy poison Ivy. not that impressed. it didn't have the 1/2 feel I was looking for. I have to try it again too get a more solid feel of it though. those were just first impressions.

Instead of the smooth feel of the stated ropes it is a little bumpier...like reptile skin maybe? It is also a little larger then the stated ropes.

I've been climbing on the IMORI prototype for a year and I have to say I'm pretty impressed. The tensilized strands give it a broken in feel right from the get go. It wears like iron too. I picked up a 150' green and black version at TCI and will put it to work for the first time tommorrow. Thanks to Jamie Goddard for the rope and Rick "Real Deal" Denbeau for the splice.

i've been climbing on it since July. it seems to have more stretch and bounce than PI, and a lumpier feel. The plus side of the rope is it is very grippy. But, is it any better than PI, i dont think so.
