wtb Stihl HT 131 pole saw upper pole assembly

im looking to replace the upper telescopic pole assembly on a stihl ht131 it seems you have to buy all of the part individually or a whole new shaft unit upper and lower. anyone have one kicking around i have a good working power head and a good saw head, and good outer shaft or lower shaft the inner stripped and needs replacing.

Looks like all the parts separate maybe aftermarket but not super expensive

Super fun to work on those things too...dont forget to order a tube of the awesome lube that make a mess of you, everything you're wearing, and well; pretty much everything!

On TreeStuff, "Stihl Compatible" means Stihl parts... they're not a dealer, so they can't say they're Stihl parts... go figure. But, it will come in Stihl packaging.

I've given up on trying to figure out what's going on with them. It looks like they're shifting all the inventory to match Sherrill's, to me. The site has that distinctive look of something that's been left to rot, because something else is about to replace it.

Actually we are a Stihl dealer and have been for 10 years or so, but wont be for much longer. We are getting out of the saw repair parts business because they dont sell fast enough, there are too many of them and its not super profitable. We will continue to sell maintenance parts however not Stihl brand.

We've always sold 'Stihl compatible parts" online in an effort to get people what they need but it just isnt worth it at the rate of inventory investment to return.

The idea that TreeStuff is on the downturn is ridiculous. Ill take any bet from anyone that TreeStuff is the single largest direct to consumer sales channel in the arborist world. We sell more than anyone else on the planet and are growing the fastest.

You can dream up all the conspiracy theories you want and Im ok with it because at the end of the day the market is going to continue to choose the supplier with the largest assortment, the best service and everyday low prices, anyone voting with their dollars and not forum posts knows that's TreeStuff.
