Looking to buy a used Morgan Block if anyone has one they aren't using. I have a couple projects coming up where solo rigging is the move and it seems like the right tool for the job. Can also do partial trades if anyone is looking for something in particular. Thanks in advance!

I can lend you mine, but I don't want to part with it.

Thanks Mike, that's very nice of you. I'll touch base if that becomes the best choice. @evo I just checked this thing out and watched the videos. I didn't realize it was midline attachable. This is a great and more affordable option.

Also multi purpose too... Works as a sling balancer, zip line anchor, lowerable base anchor and more.. Takes a few brain cells to figure out how to use it as areal friction rigging but just a 3/8 line and no brake hand is enough to let ~4" diameter norway maple limbs float to the ground. Kinda a PITA to lock off, but easy to take many wraps without half hitching the ears to butt hang. Stainless so I can't imagine wearing it out..

I also realize that this can be used from underneath the rigging point or load like a little porty or as the rigging point above the load. Super versatile. I just ordered one. I should have titled this thread "What is the right tool for the job?"

X2 on the scarab! It’s bomber for aerial friction in my one man do everything operation. Been using mine for a couple years now and wouldn’t be without it.

Speaking of morgan block I see Rock Exotica has an almost identical unit in the works.
