Wrens in sawmill

This week I injected an Ash and about halfway through the process was hearing a buzz. Sure enough, yellow jackets were swarming above their entryway on the ground about 12 inches from one of my injection sites on the big old Ash. I decided to continue working without spraying them, but keeping my eye on 'em. They minded their business and I mine, no problem. I think at one point before I was aware of their presence, my head was pretty close to their hole. That's probably how I heard them buzzing in the first place.
