It all comes down to progressive change, and accepting where we came from, and where we are going to be later in time. Over the past 15ish years or so, climbing gear (ropes, saddles, systems, snaps, tools) has progressed very very fast from the old days. I know a lot of climbers that like to do things their way. Thats good, because when climbing you have to meet your comfort level.
It hate to see people play the for tat game. If you don't like it don't buy it,please don't bash someones good idea and hard work. Has anyone of us developed and marketed anything to make tree work easier and more productive?
Been out to the west, nor cal, and so cal 80 120' euc's(DBH 4-7') all day long, climbed and measured a 165er the first branch was at 75'. People say there is a 300' euc, sorry can't say where. A 40 to 60' footlock is cake, now double that and tell me after three days of work I don't want to ride the wraptor.
P.S. You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink.
Thanx for the wraptor it is a very good tool that will find its way into our truck.
