I can't speak for ST but Erik didn't get that fast because we have low expectations! Lol

Yeah, I used to feel sorry for them because I thought they were barely breaking even on labor when they did a splice for 25 bucks. Now that I know it only takes them 4 or 5 minutes and they can do 10 or so in an hour with time for a coffee break I don't feel so sorry anymore! And after all of this is said and done, these guys will be expected to produce in this fashion day in and day out.![]()
Even if they took 10-12 minutes per splice during a normal work day, which might be a more reasonable pace, that's still ~$150/hour. Not bad for a service whose only consistent expenses are labour and a few cents worth of twine and heat shrink. I'm in the wrong line of work.Yeah, I used to feel sorry for them because I thought they were barely breaking even on labor when they did a splice for 25 bucks. X2, same thoughts here. I was just messing around. All of these guys are just phenomenalHey Luke, I was just joking! I am an avid splicer and I know what goes into a good splice and all the stuff you guys have to go through to turn out a good product. Even if your guys only crank out 2 or 3 splices an hour at their regular work pace that is still phenomenal in my book.
