You've definitely gotta get your YouTube account straightened out, you'll be just blown away! But just over 5 minutes to splice a tight eye is just ridiculous! I'm still reeling from it after watching both guys just move like a Suisse time piece. It's sickening, I suppose if you have everything laid out and setup perfectly, 5-6 minutes could be possible for the normal Splicer.I just watched Dr. O from Sherilltree di a 4+ minute splice. I just can't seem to get the YouTube vid to link.
It's all in the whipping. Both complete the splice in roughly the same time, but Dr.O did his whipping in ~55 seconds from the time he touches the thread, where Erik takes ~90 seconds.
