world record fluke for spearfishing

End of August this fish became part of the record books It was 33.5 inches and 15.5 pounds.I would love to say I shot this doormat ,but at least my good friend and coworker did . He deserves it more than anybody anyways, he puts the time in the water. Cheers Bob! Here is pic after filleted. I'm sure if you want to see a before cut pic its on the googles somewheres. So big we even got a nice chunk of cheek meat! Any fishermen out there?I figured out how to add a internet pic as well!

Awwh shoot Mr. Bill gotta get you back under the surface. For me its just another way of life . I'd be lost without it. Like tree climbing! Where did you do your underwater hunting?

my mom was born on a small island in croatia, very primitive no cars one store but a lot nature and sea to explore. i spent my summers there as a kid where i would watch and learn my father spear fish. as i got older i picked it up. crystal clear waters with plenty of fish. then came work and a family and started going less and working more. 2 month vacations turned into 3 week ones. my kids are two now (twins) and can't wait to share the experience with them. i still have all my gear there, just gotta get there , its been a few years.
