My first order from TEMU arrived today. Four 6" duct connector flanges. Ten minutes later I had two nice spools for holding up to 200 feet each of 1/8" polyester cord that I use for bookmarks after setting up TIPs.
Sure beats wrapping line around old peanut butter jars and pieces of pvc pipe. TEMU had them for less than half the price for similar items on Amazon, and shipping was free.

Removed two limbs that were dripping sap on a friend's truck. Used a speed line to protect blueberry plants around the tree. There are four more to remove later. The tree is to the left of where I'm standing.

Got the last two today. I used the speed line for the larger one first, and then used the speed line again to hang the smaller one so I could lower it clear of the blueberry plants after I got on the ground.

Nice project for this afternoon was getting down this broken limb which was hanging over the roof.
I decided to take the entire limb since there would have only a tiny bit of foliage left. I secured it, and let it hang beside the trunk while I cut it up and threw down the pieces. I removed several old dead limbs while I was in the tree.
Of course there's a pile at the curb.
I sorta rushed this one ahead of other projects because of the forecast for stormy weather early this week.

Two freshly broken limbs are hiding in this mess high up. Another project that's close to a house.
I got all of the lower one, but I had to leave about two feet of the higher one. It was too well attached at the break, and I couldn't reach far enough to cut it loose there. Pulling and twisting didn't work either.
I'm going to try to get a higher TIP to go after the piece I left. I don't want to leave it there. I'll go after it with the pole saw if I have to.

I got a nice higher TIP this morning, and climbed this afternoon to remove this piece I'd left behind.
I also found there's a third broken limb that's larger than the previous ones.
Green is my TIP, blue and yellow are where the first two limbs were, and red is the one I found today. It's lying on another limb, and I doubt I can get it to fall just by cutting it loose. My plan is to take the chainsaw up, tie the limb off, cut it loose, and cut/drop short pieces as I pull the limb towards me. Eventually it'll get short enough that I can get it off of the limb and lower what's left with a rope. We'll see how that works out.
Edit: I'll use a speed line or ropes for the first drops. It's too close to the house to have heavy pieces freefalling.

It worked out pretty well, but I was only able to cut off and lower one piece by rope before realizing I couldn't get the limb to move toward me. Fortunately I'd brought up a rope anchored to another tree, and I tied that to the end of the limb. I also tied a line I could use to pull downward. Then I moved the end of the limb into a clear area, and let it down a little to take up the slack in the anchor rope. Back on the ground, I eased the anchor rope and pulled on the other rope, and the limb tilted and slid free. That left it hanging high up, and then just off the ground so I could cut it up.
That's about as easy as it gets. But no job's complete without a pile at the street.

Removing 6 long-ago topped and declining/rotting firs around a house. I suggested waiting till summer but the customer wanted to get it done now, so I made it happen. Soft wet field, couldn't have done it without my collection of MaxTraxs, 4x4 trucks and chain for one pull to drier ground. Shot 4 of the 6 through the fence posts, final cleanup tomorrow, a Saturday... Fun job though, nice problem solving and skills test.
