We were privileged to remove the largest tree in town. Over a hundred years old and 100 ft tall. Over six foot through at the base. Even housed a young coon.

Just the usual night job !
Insurance co. Calls at 4 for a tree on house !

Well good thing it was 10 mins away to my crane ops house and he had the big fella there !

That's a plane to the left of the crane booms light! Was way higher up but neat shot

Nothing like a night hoist ! We had helmet lights on and the work area lit up as well.

Booming down and packing up. Easy one pick on a chilly night!

4/20 part was deciding factor if I should bust a nut lifting it into the p/u it is on its 3rd year with us. :coffe:

Last 2 are my day Thursday. It was cool to see the snow swirling around my boom. Ran my crane for an hour and I had 2inches of snow laying on me when I stood up.

I hate working in snow. I like (try) to take my winters off. I've been doing maintenance and repairs on the little stuff indoors. The only good thing i remember about working in the snow, is there is very little cleanup involved. The little rakings disappear under the snow. lol! Heres one of the last jobs we did after thanksgiving before all the snow hit us.
