It's nice to see a well crafted piece of equipment. That is hard to find in a world of production. It' would be nice if people could start appreciating quality over quantity and price, when they are shopping again.

Ladders are scary and you are an arborist? At 60 feet and running a chainsaw full bore hanging on a rope.
Here we use ladders pretty much on every tree...Get a throw ball set it on a good limb...run you climb line up and have someone tend your slack as you climb. Easy way to get 1/3 to 1/2 the way up. Our trees rarely get past 60 feet.

Tom, that was very interesting to see. I didn't get a chance to hear the audio, so I know that I missed a lot. Was that manila line that I saw on those ladders?

Same here,Id rather climb and do climb the first 30'...We have the wooden ladders I just dont use them...Ive had to many bad experiences with ladders..The first being about 10 years ago as an electrician,while upgrading a service to 200amps.I was extending the rungs of a 24'fiberglass extension ladder,using the rope on the back side.Well at the point it reached the last rung the rope(which was in bad shape)snapped...All 12' of the front side came down on my right thumb which I had mistakenly put on the interior of the lower extension.All my own fault.Should have kept up on the rope and had my hand in the correct spot.I felt like a bafoon asking the homeowner to take me to the hospital so they could put the top half of my finger back on.But I had too my truck was stick LOL
