Congratulations on receipt of the least coveted award for 2016! Your superb skills in the art of deceptive manipulation would be envied by even the most seasoned member of the mafia underworld! Your masterful portrayal of a "man of his word" would have even Spielberg quivering in his nether regions- with the extreme contrast between theatre and reality! Congratulations again, on receipt of the 2016 "CAPTAIN CON" award! We trust the burdensome weight of honesty has been removed from your words, since they clearly carry none!

* If you feel you have received this award in error, please make contact and pay the remaining balance owed on the unit...
Or, as stated in the "King's English", Pay me my Damn money!

Wow! This does not sound too good. I thought pretty highly of the guy. Seamed he was running a pretty good business. Had some nice equipment and was pretty handy with building some pretty sweet log trucks. Interested to see how this turns out...Over extended maybe?

Oh Boy! There must be a way to figure out where he lives! I will do some re-search. Wasn't he from Georgia or Florida?
I have found that when people refuse to pay and you show up at dinner time, or on a holiday. Then you get paid pretty quick.

You didn't say anything else about what he did or didn't do in your other thread. I've talked on the phone with Josh a few times and he seemed alright. I want to know more about the situation before I right the guy off as a con, as of now he's still a good guy in my book. Royce I think you are jumping on the bandwagon a little early with the info wheel loader given us.

Here's the full and complete story!! Here on the buzz I found a guy that was rebuilding a rear mount elavator truck from a auction bought salvaged truck which apon our first conversation he lied about saying it wasn't salvaged or bought at a auction(there was my first hint)!! Weeks later he showed up at my house with a truck he bought and was remounting the boom on. We spoke and made a deal. Week or so later I sent him 35k dollars. To make this as accurate but short. The deal was changed by him in his favor several times. Complete dates- all 5 of them was never held up on his part. At this point I asked for my money back but he couldn't return it. The truck was at a aerial lift shop getting repairs to the tune of 22k that I ended up paying myself directly the the lift shop. After 4/5 months and selling my bucket truck to finance this deal I ended up having to pick the bucket truck up not even remotely completed to our agreement to try and complet the truck myself. I wrote him a 3k check when I picked the truck up from the aerial lift shop of his choice. Our agreement was I would finish the truck and deduct the cost/time from what's owed. Weeks later we spoke about settling with a final payment of 9k but not understanding what it was going to cost the get the truck in operation condition/ to our agreement. After getting the truck up to par the cost was well over our original 78.5k completion price. I offered him a final payment of 4K which he denied and stated about working with a repo/salvaged company to retreave the unit. At that time I consulted/retained a attorney to take this matter over. I have all recipes spent on the truck.

If it's the same guy I'm thinking of, he sold a real lemon to a friend of mine.
The truck I sold your friend wasn't a lemon it ended up having water in the hydraulic oil which I didn't know and when it went to Colorado in the winter the water froze the created a crazy amount of damage. I offered not only to buy the truck back for what he paid plus repaires plus shipping cost. He stated he was happy all in all paid 25k for a truck that a dealer would sell for 50k
