Last weekend I went up to the North Shore for weeeknd hiking
Little did I know that it was St Urho's Day on Friday. St Urho is from Finland and is credited with driving the grasshoppers out of Finland to save the wine crop

Some kinda fun!
Anyway...I did a cat rescue a few weeks ago and was the hero. The client gave me my check and a bottle of wine too.
My wine knowledge is pretty simple. This bottle was a 2013 Carmenere from Chili. I had no clue what it was so
I googled it. Got a good description but, to me, wine language could put a delicious spin on compost tea
When I pulled the cork and took a sip...out of a glass...not a swig...out of the bottle I was pleased! Mmm...very tasty!
I'm going to try and find more
