Wilt stop on arborvitae

I just planted twelve teelve foot Green Giant arborvitae along a soccer field as a fence to block out field lighting from homes. This area is exposed to winds. I thought it would be wise to use a anti transpirant because of the wind, winter around the corner with out an established root system, and more than likly thay will never get watered.I purchased Wilt stop by Bonide products. The nursery sales man recomended it and on the front lable it is listed for Evergreen trees as well as others. On further reading in the back lable it says do not use on any variety of Arb with out first testing. My questions are, Any one have any experiance here? How long should I wait after testing a portion of tree to be comftorable with the results and finish the rest of the trees. If I spray too early and we recive a large rain fall will this be counter active and drowned the trees? Any advise or comments are apriciated thank you. Im located in Delaware if that makes a differance.
