Why is this tree still standing - video it moves

Hello all,

A special guest and I visited the tree over the weekend. He wanted to see it for himself. With a VERY SOFT TOUCH the tree moves. With a yard stick in place to measure the diameter we watched this special tree move.

Still standing after all these years.

I do hope to visit again and again and watch as it slowly continues it's death and returns to the ground that once gave it life.

If that tree were in Europe, they might try to put a cage around it to prevent it from completely failing
