Morice and I just checked into the fabulous Days Inn in Cookesville, TN.

This room has all the amenities; Fridge and Microwave, Big Screen TV, iron and ironing board, and the faint aroma of a low budget porno set.


I'm trying not to stay in one place too long, and I have a whole 12 pack to drink cause I don't think John will be any help.


We will be in the 'Lou sometime early in the afternoon, and I have a secret mission to visit my old alma mater and commit certain "deeds".

my impression of Morice was that he was the voice of reason between the two of ya and perhaps a bit more responsible too. I am glad he will be there to babysit. Keep an eye out for Jesse Sanchez (The Living Legend) as I have instructed him to be on the lookout for you two.

we just broke for lunch from the CTSP class. two blocks down from the America Center on Washington is Mizu, a great Sushi bar! #1013 Washington.

Just got a call from Roger Martin from Kentucky. I guess he thought it would be a good idea to call and rub it in my face that I cant go. He should be arriving soon and will be jetting around town on his bicycle. Kind of sounded like he was on the lookout for some floorspace. Please feed and shelter him as he is a nice guy. I asked him to deliver tittie twisters on my behalf, so watch out.

Got TlHamel and Boston Bull out to the show, unfortunately, they left before the real show began.


Oh well, better get some shut eye before tomorrow.

Morice and I are in search of the Asplundh hospitality suite.

Of course we haven't looked anywhere yet.


We went back to Forest park after the afternoon sessions and found a Maple Grove (Norway, Sugar, Silver and Reds). We climbed the mightiest Norway Maple of the stand, it towered above the other Maples by several feet, it's outermost limbs attaining heights of 45 to 47 feet from the ground. I set a line in the crown almost immediately after several few throws.

Good News: The Hitchclimber I bought on the show floor (thank you Sherril) works!

I am headed for a hospitality suite of some sort, and by Oden's beard I will find free finger food and booze!

Just got back!!! Awesome time there!!!! My favorite part was meeting Mark and watching him climb. Even got a few tips from him at the Stihl booth, along with some pics and an autographed poster! I've also taken a ton of pics, and I'll post a link to my site with them. I also met a ton of other buzzers!
