Couple people said they hated working for xxxxxxx company. I am wondering what made them hate working for them. Poor company policies, poor coe-workers, etc. there are a lot of things that may be wrong and if it is something like poor policies (especially according to saftey) I think it should be known. Especially since I am currently looking to get on a Utility Crew and want to know what companies are good and which to avoid.

who ever you pick 'member its up to you. Try to make good cuts and no stubs or dog ears you know be a be a tree worker

I do plan to be professinal about it, which is part of the reason I am so interested in hearing about different companies. A lot of companies around here don't really worry about doing things properly and that is what I am trying to get away from.
I have never been a fan of Davey. Mostly for no good reason though. Made a quick judgement off a few of the higher ups I met. Guess I should be a bit more professional but we all have our quirks.

I Work for Asplundh. It's a good company. It has it's dark side too, as with any large company.
They stress safety a lot, it can be done safe, and they have the policy to prove it, lol. All kidding aside, they really make you think safety all the time!
They are behind the times as far as how they climb. They do stress map times/tree counts, a lot of guys don't like the micro management that happens.
But they will keep you employed. Try to find an area that is union! Best pay and benefits.
