Where do you hang your handsaw?

Yes I agree put it on the leg! Saw pod or make your own. I took some straps off an old paid or chainsaw chaps and just gorilla glued them to my silky handsaw scabbard. Then used electrical tape to tape over that.

Silky on the leg. I went out and bought straps that snap on to make it easier to put on and take off. The straps that come with it are bogus.

Truthfully it hangs between my legs off a keychain beaner on the saddles waist strap. I hate feeling around for it behind me while I'm trying to put it away. And yes I,m cicumsized.

OMG hahahaha

thats tooo funny. i was gonna say aren't you afraid of accidentally um, well lets just say nick the wrong limb while putting it away?

Man, the leg thing just doesn't work for me. My leg goes upside down a lot and also the rope seems to always grab it right out the holster. I hang it on left side, cross draw.. lanyard hangs on the right.

I hang it off my left leg on my TM. It seems to stay out of the way enough of everything else. The only time I have issues with it is if Im hangin my 200 off my left back hip and because of an angle its difficult to put the handsaw back in the scabbard. def prefer the leg over the hip though.

Ditto what he said...

Left side on my Treemotion. Lanyard and handsaw to the left. Chainsaw to the right.

But, I have often wondered wether I could improve the system. The handsaw and lanyard tend to get tangled up sometimes.

But for me it is the best setup I have tried yet...

left side and a pair hanging in the truck ;-)

When i'm pruning only with handsaws I like to add an extra handsaw on the right side, where the chainsaw usualy hangs.

I've tried to work with the sawpod and the pruning saw on the leg but it bothers me to much during climbing. For me the saw pod doesn't work....
