What's wrong

What\'s wrong

I was working with an old colleague today, haven't seen him for almost a year and took a pic for the fun we had about some of his gear....

And yep, he won't wear a hard hat, doesn't matter how many times I tried to convince him ......

Re: What\'s wrong

I wouldn't let that guy climb. That bridge is totally screwed. When somebody shows up with gear screwed up like that I think to myself "If this guy doesn't care about his own safety he won't be concerned about mine".

Re: What\'s wrong

Yep, that was my opinion as well, but if you look a bit closer you can see his backup bridge hidden under his hands ;-) but nevertheless a dangerous situation in my opinion.....

Won't work with him on my jobs any more ! If he hires me, I will do climb for him, it's an old friend and won't let him down.

Re: What\'s wrong

if there is indeed a back up bridge then I guess its an experiment in how long the cordage will last. I dont think its that big of a deal, at least he realizes the issue and has made the link redundant. As for the brain bucket, I climbed for about 20 years without one. Now with our comunications systems in the kask I could never be without it....

Re: What\'s wrong

My biggest concern is when the bridge would break and he is just working his chainsaw ;-)

We had lots of fun with this pic, not nly his bridge was broke, his zipper from the chainsaw pants teared wide open out on that same branch... Ha ha ha and it was freezing cold ....for him :-)
