Ought to just ban American and other western antagonistic foreign policies and I guarantee the world will become a better place.

It would become ripe for the spread of Islam, that is bad.

USA foreign policy is flawed though.

The myth of America has died with the Iraq bloodbath.

To keep a bullet from endangering oneself when shooting at boulders, one shouldn't aim at rocks.

The most powerfully dangerous thing America has done was to validate the Koran's presumptions. If we didn't do what we've done, there wouldn't be any threats.

Here is another example of how religious zealots from asia are attempting to chip away at western values;

Hindu Cow

Oakwilt, I know you hate the USA.

The neo cons are all ex-trotskyites, what do you expect, they think that by changing what people believe....they can change the way they behave.

Shhhhhh!

The decider is on the radio right now telling us why we are in Iraq, fighting to keep America safe. I know that he believes what he believes is right.

He just wants us all to move away from political games and posturing and get down to winning this war.

Oh boy.

In October 2003, the under-secretary of defence William Boykin declared that the enemy in the " war on terror" was "a guy called Satan".

Why do you think he made the "Satan" comment?

Because he's as sick a prick as his appointer. A "free nation" such as ourselves becoming led by myth-fearing evangelicals that by definition and resolve are no different than Al Qaeda. With an added element of greed and lying - by those they become worse than Al Qeada.

The Mafia has more honor than the entire Bush administration.

That's nice oakwilt, what's your solution?

A couple of very loud big bangs.
The only thing that will be left is a small spot in Africa. And after the Fall Out they can try once more to roam the earth.

No serious, what could WE as a couple of Treebuzz addicted arborists do. We should have all stayed in our comfy homeland. But since humans are a part of nature, and the opportunity was there to start roaming the earth, the planet has to deal with us being a bad glitch of evolution of life on the complete planet.

What we seriously should keep in mind is the fact that trees need Co2. We as Arbs have a obligation to natures green to keep driving those beautiful Co2 producing petrol guzzling TRUCKS.

Treespotter, are you saying the only viable option left to save humankind from endless misery is if we all start driving around in the 2007 version of this diminutive TRUCK? (Sneaky beetle at the back)

I think it is the only option we have left, it would certainly make us less aggressive and more humble, there's no way you could start a war with a truck like that.

Oakwilt, how about isolationism for the US of A?

America has recently been introduced to idea of driving small fuel efficient vehicles.......check out what MB did to his Smartcar on the left of picture.

He is about to drive over Tommy D's Smartcar!!!!Poor Tom!

There is no hope for humankind

No, but see Grover, I see things different than you.

It's not an either/or question, that's for idiots.

Read Bury My Heart At Wounded Knee by Dee Brown. Then cross-check each reference then do it again.

Or you can watch either network's version of "Do You Know The Words To This Song?"

But then only if you're interested - or just be some fool asking questions of weather we should nuke them or just come home.

Not sure what this means. Is it a tv show? or tv movie?

My interest is serious Oakwilt, you flew off on your usual tangent of Bush bashing and nihilistic pessimism. When are you going to realise that humankind cannot change it's nature? Or are you an eternal idealist? What is your ideology anyway?

My option is to go for realism in politics.

Peace brother.

I've witnessed both the depths of cultural filth and the potential for human success.

In almost every instance of the former, there was a tangible reason for the descent into hell, and I believe it's rectifiable - in the latter, it was humanity allowed, without interference from outside greedy interests...and it can be beauty in it's most basic form and magical in what it can acheive.

There has yet to be a review of the impact religions have wrought in fear of the religion itself. Newton was sentenced to die for showing the world the brain can function and prosper away from the church. The church still, is looking forward to the day we all die by despicable evil, rising again to prosper under a myth in a place we haven't destroyed. How nice, huh?

Easy to change, harder to convince. Takes brains, not influence.
