I'm near Atlanta, Georgia.

I think one of them might be some kind of sumac tree. It has leaves that look like poison ivy on it, but of course it isn't. The other tree has very dark green leaves.
There's a third tree around the middle of the house on the fence line...that one drops these hard green balls a little larger than a golf ball. The leaves on it look kind of fern-like, based on ferns that I have seen before.
I know I'm not giving too much to work with here and the pics are a little blurry.
Also, while I'm at it...you can see how the branches of these trees are having over the house and right behind the house. Approximately how much would it cost in theory to have someone trim these vs cutting them down completely? The first branches are at least a good 20-something feet up. I have a 14-foot pole saw and it isn't reaching. I even attached it (most of the way extended) to one of those wooden poles like they use in the closets to hang clothes hangers on. That was a good 10 feet extra, so we're talking 25' or so and it still wouldn't quite reach from the ground. The ladder was quite dangerous. Someone said to stand on the roof with the pole saw, but that's quite maniacal. The roof is rather steep and that pole saw is heavy.
I found another type of pole saw that runs around $229. Would I be better off just getting one of these and picking away at it (because the braches are so large that just cutting the branch as a whole might damage the roof/break the side window)?
