What is your preferred rope for SRT

I am really liking my imori. Especially if I use it in conjunction with a static line as the anchor leg in a basal anchored system. The static line runs from the base anchor over the TIP and is attached to the imori, which is running to the ground.
Can cut a lot of rope elongation out of the system.
Mac, what do you use as a connection between the static line and the Imori? I like the concept, just can't visualize it. Thanks for your response.

I use a screw link. Delta, but I think you could use a pear shaped, or just a regular chain link one. The profile on those might be a bit more passable thru branch unions and such. My imori has a splice, but my htp doesn't, so I tie a midline knot, alpine butterfly or circus bowline. Cuz an anchor knot cinches so freakin tight it is unpleasant to untie. The anchor knot is a bit slimmer profile though. Trial and error, you know.

Thanks, I'll give it a try.
