Weekend work in Chicago

Wow, I'm gone for a few days and you two are just sitting here jabbering back and forth. TNT's right, I haven't been in Chicago long enough to lean, but maybe that's cos I drink V8? And there's something wrong with the politics here? Maybe you should try some Blago Shampoo (http://blagohair.com/).

You're probably right that I haven't marketed myself well enough to get some weekend work. Do people put fliers in grocery stores and local businesses? In my neighborhood people just put fliers all over your car, but I hate that.

Bummer about the deer.

I too watched Rocky and Bullwinkle, but as re-runs. I grew up with the Muppet Show and Mork and Mindy.

What? Arborists never get off track and go on tangents or the sort. How about that local sports team?

I'm starting to answer more adds on Craigslist, hopefully that'll help. I still wish I had an old truck so I could haul brush away. Anyone want to donate a truck to the cause?

For the record I'm starting to show my first symptoms of a cold even before my first day at HobLob. I don't feel too bad, but how long is it before you start feeling like you got hit by the H1N1 Mack truck? Maybe I'll get lucky. Or maybe I'll just infect everyone else. Maybe I should stop licking doorknobs.
 
before the truck n trailer was the loader truck do a couple of prunes then you can get more bang for your buck

Everywhere I look, there are signs "Help Wanted". Mind you they are in the food service game. I know a guy that owns a Dairy Queen (Hamburgers, Ice Cream...) he can't find enough people, and he has had to lower his hiring and service standards, 'cause these new employees JUST DON'T know how to work. Sometimes its better to do without empolyees and do all you can yourself!

I was looking for an employee or 2 a couple yrs ago. When I saw who was out there and available, it didn't take long to decide that we would (and could) do without the drama of the available work force.

I am tellin' ya, in a few more years, the person who holds the shovel, will hold the POWER!
