Yes, we have one or two in our market. Guy has a chain for a lanyard. Other guy cusses god and the world the whole time he climbs a tree. No employees, just find someone to help each day.

Yeah I really loved the dramatic music and that slow camera pan up the boom... to the man in a basket.
He looks like he climbs on spikes as little as he can possibly get away with.

Second video it has his title has owner/arborist...I hope people don't get the impression that's what an arborist really is! Its people like that who make the rest of us seem like uneducated mokeys with chainsaws! Surely he isn't trying to imply he is an ISA certified arborist! A ladder taking a top now wonder he says no matter how many times you do it you still get nervous! Pretty crazy racing the top to the ground!

Dude is swimming in the shallow end with a lifejacket on. Only thing holding him up. I did check ISA and he is NOT a CA, fortunately.

Thank the Tree Gods he's not a CA...I would have taken it upon myself to contact ISA and report the mistake they had made by given him a certification! Then OSHA the better bussiness bureau..and anybody else I could think of! I wish there was a govrning body that would take the right of individuals like that away so he couldn't do anything invovling tree work or a chainsaw! There's no telling how many lives he risks on a daily bases not including his! Maybe you should have to submit to a background check and have a permit to own a chainsaw! Like a gun permit! Just kidding but sometimes I wonder with guys like that!

No it's not OK. Those smucks keep my prices profitless. Step up or step out. He probably prices with "whatever the market will bear on a given day" policy or scam what you can. He's got nicer equipment than me or well he actually has equipment when I spent my startup money on education and 6 years later I'm having trouble keeping the pickup/branch trailer show on the road.

For me that's the real issue.
