Warpspeed Bridge

Hello Everyone,

We have some saddles with the warp speed bridge (Glide II, Glide Lite) on them. When I run my fingers along the rope it feels like there are bumps along the inside underneath the outer sheath. These saddles are 3+ years old, but they are only used about 160 hours a year at most. Does this sound normal? My gut instinct is to replace the bridges and that's probably what I'll do, but wanted to hear back from people who use the warpspeed bridge.

Warp speed is bomb proof stuff but with anything inspection is the key. It could be where the splice has bunched on a crossover. For peace of mind I would change the bridge. You have to be certain 100% that your equipment is going to be there for you. That's why you do daily inspection.

Thanks everyone. I will be replacing the bridges. I think I read in a thread somewhere that this was happening to someone else and when they cut the sheath off they saw that the bumps were from the splice herniating through itself.
