Wanted: full wrap handlebar for stihl 500i

No, Randy builds a good solid saw. He’ll be the first to tell you he’s not building super hot saws, just good work saws with some get up and go.

Good to know, thinking of sending one his way. Seems like a good dude.
Randy is top notch! He will stand behind his work in the rare event there is a problem as well. I will point out that he only ports new saws. If you have a used saw you want ported Kevin (Huskil on ope forum) also does top quality work. For anyone in eastern Canada Mike Gilbert (Canadian farm boy) builds a fantastic saw as well. I have saws from all three and they are great worksaws.

Absolutely. I had an issue with my 261 a couple of tanks in. I pulled the exhaust and spark plug and found a scorched piston. Randy had me return it, replaced the piston and repaired the cylinder then made a timing change and shipped it back at no additional cost. It's been running great ever since.

I’m in California which catches on fire a lot so he just opened it up under the screen and inside,, I may have hogged out the baffles inside, can’t remember.

That’s what I do to all my saws since I need the spark arrestor screen, open it up under the screen as big as it can go while still supporting the screen and get inside the can and grind out the baffles. I’ll have to look at his, he may have added a second port and I could be full of shit and I never touched that muff. Sorry. Not much help
