Walking axle skateboard

Whenever the brush/log cart has been discussed I've thought they needed a walking axle for an almost mechanical advantage over rough terrain. Check out this guy's skateboard "invention" smoothing out stairs. I've built a couple for lighter loads out of mountain bike rear ends welded together and I could approach a 3' fallen log and lift one wheel at a time over it with a 400lb load feeling like nothing as all the weight is transfered to the lower wheel and you have leverage over the axle.

Good stuff.
I think another solution is to ski/surf it. Flip it for real dude!
That surely wins it with speed and frictionless though.
Chuck Norris approved.Bro!

That's the application where I saw the design. A welder from a small logging town near here claims to have came up with the idea for atv trailers and we used them for tree planting. They work great.
There may of been a lunar lander or a Mars robot with the design so I can't say it's not rocket science, pretty simple idea though. I bet some Roman chariot builder thought he had a cool idea too.
