Great!

Chaps at the chipper at the end, less than ideal, better than no leg pro.

People say dollars then people.

Personal safety/ health is way more important than property damage.

The military/ gov't talks about billions of dollars first, then the lives lost, without mention of shattered lives and families for generations.

My theory on chaps at the chipper is that it is better than not wearing them, when someone has to make "one quick cut" and ends up with a chainsaw injury instead.

I agree, personal safety is far more important than money, but I also know that we will never get guys to put their chaps on and take them off every time a cut needs made at the back of the chipper.

Video looks great!

I have never, and will never, allow chaps on my worksite. Either wear chainsaw pants or go home. Too many hazards with chaps.

Overall very good. But, since you asked, here's my $0.02 (and it may not be worth that much!)

*I like the working/people/moving trees/end results clips better than equipment. As a client I don't care about your equipment... just that the job is done well.
*0:13-0:15 a whole tree dropping. I'm good with that, but I think that will scare some folks off. (But the counter argument is they see you don't need the crane for everything). I'm just not sure it fits with the rest of the video.
*1:00-1:03 - the video is talking about how bad one wrong move can be...then we are looking at a tree on a house. I'm assuming that was storm damage...but that could very easily be interpreted as "here's a clip of a time we missed.". Maybe inserting something like "whether it's storm clean up, or removing a dead tree before it falls..." would contextualize that better?

Video and production quality are great.

I really liked the closing.

Thank you, I appreciate the feedback! I have thought about some of those things as well, maybe we will make a few changes again.

Reactions: ATH
Looks great, I hear what ATH is sayin, I came across that too myself when upsizing and focusing on the new shiny toys. My client base assumed I was no longer doing the bread and butter stuff shifting my business focus.
I’d consider more mundane jobs mixed in vs all the big equipment (that is unless that is exactly what your target client is)
With the felling clip it’s a little too short to show lack of damage to the fence. A controlled lowering/felling can be quite a impressive clip.

On a tree fell the flop always impresses, but the best message IMO is showing the careful skill at/during the cut like sighting the lay etc - ie the skill.

Was there a shot of eg shaking hands/congratulating with a happy smiling satisfied customer? Would score points. Bit of counterpoint to the seriousness of managing risk.

I liked the vid.
