Video: Oops, smashed a fence today on video

Yeah, well I'd like to know where the tree was supposed to go without hitting the fence. It doesn't appear there was an opening anywhere in the fence, so based on that, I call "stunt". The bit with the equipment afterward just ices the cake. I'm not saying it doesn't look like it was fun, just that I don't buy the "oops" bit.

You scoundrel..you got me on that one...I wondered where the opening was supposed to be but just assumed I was missing something.

I still like the "oops bit".
 
That reminds me of a job my crew leader did once. The house was gonna get demolished and there wher 4 or 5 trees around the house to come down. They said they could put the tree anywhere even on the house. Every tree was felled purposely on the house to destroy it. Wish I could have been there to see it. Same type of deal there Ekka huh?
 
Mike Maas did the same thing a few years back, crunching the corner of a house.

And where has that guy gotten to lately? He's been MIA...
 
We did that a few years back too. What fun. There were powerlines on the roadside that kept us from taking big pieces. But, when they told us that they were destroying the house my eyes lit up!

I took 75' spruces and rigged the entire top at roof height and cut towards the backyard. The top would slam onto the roof and I would cut it at the peak so that the top could be ripped off of the roof into the back. We chipped everything there. The wood would roll off of the gutter into the front yard. What fun! I loved it.

The funniest part was a neighbor came out and asked us for an estimate and never knew about the house being destroyed until we told him. /forum/images/graemlins/crazy.gif We got that job too. /forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif
