Vermeer BC1800XL feed wheels not reversing

So our BC1800xl stopped reversing last week. Normal operation is to push the top safety bar back and it should reverse. After opening it up i found 3 sensors attached to the saftey bar mechanism. One sensor was missing its roller and i replaced it, but its still not reversing correctly. Does anyone know what the other 2 sensors actually do? Any advice other than take it to a dealer would be greatly appreciated. Id rather not take a 2 hr trip if its just another senspr that needs replacing.

The top sensor is smashed in a bit because the safety bar linkage was loose and it was missing the backstop. I tightened the linkage, and ill be replacing the top sensor this weekend. But my gut is tellin me its something else causing issues

No, ive cleared the debris around the feed wheels and i can manually manipulate the sensors to get it in reverse. But using the safety bar to do it still isnt working as it should

If you are able to manually manipulate the sensors to make it go into reverse, it seems to me the problem is likely a sensor out of adjustment, possibly one of the arms is bent too much or too little to work correctly.

Hopefully thats what it is, i ran out of time today to change the banged up one. Weird thing is at idle the reverse works just fine, its when you have it full speed and chipping stuff that it wont reverse without slammin the bar back and forth

Try cross wiring the switch to the forward/infeed circuit. And vice versa. If you have the opposite problem, its switch, if you have the same problem (won't reverse) it may be solenoid.
Rule out switches, then solenoid.
If it's not that, its likely wiring. If its wiring, take it to a shop

The connections inside the green reset buttons get corroded over time and can cause this problem.

The main problem is all the ridiculous sensors.
