Unregulated pesticide use

It's interesting that myclobutinol can be used on fruit trees but not maple trees used for syrup and also sunflowers and walnuts that will be consumed.
In some states if the label states the disease treated for its legal to use. In my state we need the disease and species on label. Eagle obviously is labeled for powdery mildew. Don't think I would want to smoke it though.
I wonder what fungicides the tobacco farmers are using?

Nothing is labeled for pot. It's federally illegal. Maybe hemp has a labeled pesticide, I know several states have legal hemp production. My thought is they powers that be regulate the shit out of us when it comes to pesticide use- those of us who are licensed. Then as you point out Jed, a consumable commodity isn’t regulated? Keep in mind more people are eating weed now than ever.
I bet big tobacco is spraying 15-20 courses of fert/pesticide on those crops. Probably systemics like corn are heavily used.

Right off the bat this guy has a problem because he labeled his company "organic". As soon as that happens you are held to a much higher standard and rightfully so. He could have used omri labeled fungicide but he still would have been screwed because none of them carry a label for cannabis. If it's going to be legal that is going to have to change.

It's funny- my wife likes a wine from Napa. I was reading the website and they use all organic processes but, no organic label. It made me curious so I sent them an email. They said they felt is discouraged part of thier market if it had that on the label...
Wonder how many pot users would even care if it was organic?

Just do a quick search online and you'll see tons of just plain idiotic use of pesticide for these crops. First they use pesticides that are not approved for consumption and to top it off, they apply them against the label. I've even seen products used over and over which require rotation with two other modes of action after a single application.
