Saw this on the chive today

Zheng Chuhui is my Chinese name. What didn't make the book of records is the entire piece was carved one handed with an MS 200 which, burned a staggering 55 gallons of mixed gas.

Gotta give the guy respect though, I spent the day cutting dovetails and my fingers are covered in paper cuts. His must be worn clear through. Imagine the concentration it took to pull off that type of masterpiece. As well as the resilience. You know that some where at least once he f'd up an was able to maintain focus and temper to be able to fix/hide it flawlessly. Attaboy

I went to a restaurant called P.F. Chang's in Park Meadows Mall, Colorado. The place has 3 or 4 of those...not quite as big, but certainly as detailed. I was astonished. When you see it in person, you can observe how the grain follows through all the objects, as proof that it was carved and not glued together. Totally awe inspiring!
