Would you be interested in putting a drum on it?
I Would be curious to see if that solves the creep problem.
Let me know, I'll send you one just for the fun and education.

Whats a Drum ?

Something I came up with that IMO practically illuminates the wear issue, makes the Unicender much smother and descent friendly without taking away the doubled rope option as with the barrel attachment.

Skip to about 5:00 and 18:20 for a quick explanation.

I will put together a short video on the instillation.

Drum attachment for the Unicender

I have the same problem as Jimmy. Bought an original unicender five years ago, it has gone through a few rebuilds but no word from Morgan after numerous emails.
Richard, I would love to try out the drum too and if it solves the problem I would like to buy one off you.

Sounds like a plan. Let me make a video of the installation, send me a PM and I'll ship one out to you. Eventually I probably will be able to sell the two parts required for about $30. Right now it would be worth it to have some unbiased opinions.

Jimmy, I realize now that it might have looked like I butted in there. Sorry man

Jimmy and Dorian,
Thanks for the interest. I am making a little change to the design to help those with an already worn Unicender without effecting the current build.
I now waiting to get some new prototypes made and will send them to you as soon as I get them back, probable a week or so.

If there are a couple of other Unicender fans that are interested in giving it a try I would appreciate the feedback.
