I just couldn't get It work into my climbing style. I tried it for DdRt, and didn't like the feel. You have much more control with friction hitch. I works great for moving up and down a single line, but I use the RAD system when I SRT, and think the I'D is better suited for that.

As far as Small diameter rope goes I don't know the minimum. It works well on 11 mm.

7/16ths to 1/2in is it ablity. I belive with some tweeking this thing has a chance at a new life in SRT.
