Unicender Test Coming Up

Hello,
I helped out with demo's at an Arb show (UK) a few weeks ago and took along my new Rock Exotica Uni. I wasn't there to show it off per se but it kept getting pointed at and a bunch of climbers tried it out. The same question was raised by all of them. "When descending on the bite, if one's hand slipped would the plates activate with X amount of rope below?"
I know that it does with a short length, approx. 10 - 15 metres and I plan to set up a rock climbing belay as a safety line and load up metres of coils beneath the uni to see how it is affected.
Does anyone that uses the Uni (or not) have any suggestions about this test? Or more ideas that I could try while I have the dynamic safety line set up. I hope to film and photograph it.
Thanks.
