Two Reds later...

Excellent job. Loved that big horizontal lead over the roof. Nice rigging. And then you swept all the leaves off the roof. Very nice of you Ben.

Nice work, Ben! I see several above-ground tanks adjacent to the houses. Are they collecting rainwater in them to get through a dry season? And if so, is the water used for personal consumption, or just to water the plants and/or feed the toilets?

Way to sling that top down Ben! Rigging on point. What rope are you running through that little green block? I haven't pulled the trigger on one because of the 1/2" rope capacity, but looks like you're running a bigger diameter... works ok?

thanking you Hoowasat,
that tank was 100,000 litres or 21996.92 gallons.
it is used for all of the household tasks including drinking, the water is collected of the roof of the shed and the house then filtered on a demand fed pump when returning from the tank and into the domestic supply.
( they do have an inground swimming pool too)
We don't have a dry season as such here in SA but it does get rather warm during summer and a drought can last somewhere between three to five years so it is prudent to have a collected rainwater supply .

its Yale's 1/2'' polydyne as Craig spotted and no it is not strictly supposed to be used with that block if we were being honest :)
but John it does fit in there snugly but with space still being maintained between the sling and the rope .
and yes it works great for me.
;)
