Twin cylinder saws

I was watching an Echo CST 610EVL on ebay, it sold for $659.02!! I wonder how many different model twin cylinder saws where made. Any benefits to them, I guess not enough since I don't know of any still being produced.

I passed up two 610's for $150. I told a guy about them and he resold them for $400 and $550 on ebay. Just wasnt interested in them.

You also have the 100cc Solo twin.

My pride and joy saw is a mint condition Henry Disston DA211. Twin cylinder Mercury outboard engine, about 9hp. Real monster, and relic. Got it for $225 running needing only a transmission clamp.

I remember that saw. The reason behind the twin cylinders was vibration. It had very little at the time of it's production.
