Tueifelbergur Platinum

Well Eric, you stumped the dummy. I don't know what a stitch plate is, I don't know if the jacket does twist on the core, (thus the purchse of Thetueifelbergur Platinum) ever so slightly but in the length of the rope that ends up being the notable twist and does that accumulate to damage or stress the rope? I have notice the more supple ropes seem to twist the most beyond that I'm interested in knowing what the dynamics are and what is actually happening.
BTW, I do have my travel bag packed (probably forgot some needed hardware) I'm off to Paris so if you hear of some guy getting arrested climbing the Eiffel Tower............

Cheers
Take a bight of line, pass it through the ring, and capture the bight with a carabiner that is connected to a low point (lower than your primary on the bridge) on your saddle and begin to abseil from the top of the Eiffe...I mean tree, from the top of the tree. Blam. Done.

What do think of the rope so far, Tyler has a hank for sale. Please do if you don't mind Rich. If you got it up some Srt with the unicender drum would be special too. Tylers rope model is enticing but I don't need another rope I will never use if it doesn't work with my gear. Thanks

I would probably cut it half anyways. I have a pair of Zigs that I use and shorties would be fine. I usally Srt up on the uni, set a secret weapon of sorts and then ddrt off the accent line. I only play in small trees, I get squeamish big trees, lol.

never thought that much about it but when you tie an alpine butterfly you're putting a little twist in the rope, this rope does not like that, strike one. I'll play tomorrow on it with the ZZ, RR and Unicender and let you know.
I had to cut a sewn splice open on an HTP the other day to pull it down from a very high TIP. Opps.

Thanks Tom thanks what I was afraid of. I ran my Vortex through the Zig yesterday, absolutely love the decent. Ascending wasn't bad as long as you had pressure from below. It doesn't really self tend unless you have a taunt rope.
