Thanks. You and your wife were the easiest going group we ran into while in the heat of the chase, and it made for a great interaction with you guys. And a great big Thanks for letting him share that TIP with you! It helped us to secure second place on Friday.

Congrats on the win! I have enough biners, but during the trek I kept thinking how cool it would be to win one of those little omni swivels. Hope your son is enjoying his winnings.

Something funny...

When we were up in the tree your son asked me if I was Mr. Mumford, I didn't know to be complemented that he thought my skills were that good or insulted that he thought I looked like him. :)

I did for the 2nd day now, John K. You get conditioned after the 2nd day, I woke up yesterday thinking I had to hurry to the meeting spot, except I'm already back in WI. That's just wrong, in so many ways!

Imagine looking out the window of the 24th floor of a downtown building.. Wearing a tool belt and hard hat not a harness and Kask
Now imagine being able to see all the trees we just climbed but being stuck inside. That view is killing me

I started to feel sorry for you, then I remembered how beautiful the city of Pittsburgh is and thought you lucky S.O.B.

This was a cool climb next to the river, when at the spot I should be at I looked over the bridge and there was nothing but jaggers on each side of the tree for yards. I told my wife "There is no way I'm fighting through all that to get to the tree". She points up at the throw line and says "You don't have to". I say "OMG they want us to swing off the bridge into the tree!!"

What a blast.

Fitz, you are going to have to translate "Jaggers". Most people don't speak Pittsburghese. I understand perfectly.(y)

How's your son liking his new RopeRunner, Homegrown? My partner John & I were at the last tree with your family. Actually, I climbed the very last tree with your boy. What a great bunch of people, all around!
